Massimo. Perfecto. Presto. Refresh! So many choices, I know! Ideally I suggest getting a facial every 6-8 weeks. If you've never gotten a facial before and are curious which one to choose from our menu, please call our front desk and inquire! However, if you'd like my advice beforehand, simply keep reading this post. Below I've translated all the options to make it much easier for you to choose the best facial for your specific skin type.
What's your end goal?
First and foremost, know what you want to achieve. Are you scheduling it before a special event or night out and are short on time? Do you have a lot of congestion and need to detox you skin and need extractions? Or, are you craving relaxation and want a long, luxurious spa treatment? These questions will help you to narrow down your options. If you already know that you're unhappy with your pores, or want a gorgeous glow for a special date or are just stressed and need to recharge, we've got you covered! The more you can tell us before you schedule your facial, the better we can help you achieve your skin care goal. If you're still unsure, simply book a Perfecto facial, which is 100% customizable to your specific skin's needs.
Massimo, Perfecto, Presto, Refresh-A breakdown.
Curious what each of these facials include? Let me explain!
Massimo: This facial is perfect for those looking to revitalize their skin and experience full body relaxation with an additional 30 minutes of calming pressure point massage therapy combined with a deeply exfoliating back cleansing.
Perfecto: This facial includes a deep skin cleansing with a Clarisonic sonic cleansing brush, exfoliation, extractions, deep penetration of serums with a Clarisonic Opal infusion device, masque infusion with ultrasonic technology, as well as pressure point massage of the face, scalp, hands and feet.
Presto: Short for time? This facial is very similar to the Perfecto, it's just shorter and includes only light extractions and upper arm massage. You get great results in less time. Win win!
Refresh: This is an express version of the Perfecto, minus the extractions. Highly recommended for in between facials or touch ups before a special occasion.
Medication Precautions
I see a lot of clients whom use daily prescription products on their skin. If you take retinol or use salicylic acid be sure to tell us prior to booking a facial to avoid any adverse reactions. If you use a retinol every day we need to know so we can suggest a facial that doesn't include any peels or microdermabrasion. Retinols cause your skin to be very sensitive. If you take Accutane, please tell us up front so we can use utmost caution.
