Here is what to expect regarding clothing during your appointment:

During a regular bikini wax: You can keep your underwear on. Your esthetician will work around the edges, tucking the fabric as needed to access the bikini line. Wearing a simple pair of cotton bikini-cut underwear makes this easiest.

During a Brazilian or Bare Bikini wax: You will need to remove your underwear entirely since the service covers the full area. Your esthetician will provide draping and coverage as much as possible throughout the session. A disposable thong may be offered at some spas, but most clients find it easier to simply remove underwear and use the provided towel or sheet.

What to wear TO your appointment:

• Best choices: Loose cotton pants, flowy skirt or dress, soft cotton underwear (boy shorts or bikini cut work great)
• Avoid: Skinny jeans, tight leggings, synthetic underwear, thongs (the seam creates friction on freshly waxed skin)
• Pro tip: Bring a fresh pair of soft cotton underwear if you want to change after the service

After your appointment: The waxed area will be slightly sensitive for the rest of the day. Loose clothing lets the skin breathe and prevents irritation from fabric rubbing. If you must wear pants, choose the loosest option you have.
